Sık sorulan sorular
Phrasal verb nedir?
Bir fiil ile bir edatın (up, off, on, out gibi) birleşerek yeni bir anlam kazanmasıdır. Örneğin give 'vermek', give up ise 'vazgeçmek' demektir. Anlamı çoğu zaman parçalardan tahmin edilemez, bu yüzden kalıp olarak öğrenilir.
Phrasal verbs nasıl ezberlenir?
Tek başına liste halinde değil, cümle içinde. Her gün 5 tanesini seç, kendi hayatından bir cümle kur: I get up at seven. Hikaye okurken karşına çıkanları not et.
Phrasal verbs ayrılabilir mi?
Bazıları ayrılabilir: turn the TV off ya da turn off the TV ikisi de doğru. Nesne bir zamirse ortaya girmek zorundadır: turn it off (turn off it değil).
