The Cat That Everyone Feeds

There is a very famous resident on our street who does not pay rent. His name is Minnoş, a sweet street cat with soft orange fur and big curious green eyes.

Sokağımızda kira ödemeyen çok ünlü bir sakin var. Adı Minnoş; yumuşak turuncu tüyleri ve büyük meraklı yeşil gözleri olan tatlı bir sokak kedisi.

Minnoş does not belong to a single house; instead, he belongs to the whole neighborhood. In the morning, he sits in front of the bakery to get a small piece of warm cheese pastry.

Minnoş tek bir eve ait değil; aksine tüm mahalleye ait. Sabahları taze sıcak peynirli börekten küçük bir parça almak için fırının önünde oturur.

In the afternoon, he visits the Bakkal, sleeping peacefully on a soft cushion near the counter. The Bakkal puts a clean bowl of fresh water and crunchy cat food outside every day.

Öğleden sonra Bakkal'ı ziyaret eder, tezgahın yanındaki yumuşak bir minderin üzerinde huzurla uyur. Bakkal her gün dışarıya temiz bir kap taze su ve çıtır kedi maması koyar.

Children love playing with Minnoş after their school lessons are finished. He purrs happily when we stroke his soft head. Neighbors even made a warm little wooden house for him under the big pine tree.

Çocuklar okul dersleri bittikten sonra Minnoş ile oynamayı çok severler. Yumuşak kafasını okşadığımızda mutlulukla mırıldanır. Komşular büyük çam ağacının altına onun için sıcak, küçük ahşap bir ev bile yaptılar.

Minnoş connects everyone on our street with his cute behavior. Even when people are sad or tired, seeing him makes them smile. He shows us that a neighborhood is a place where every living creature is loved.
