A Match on the Turf

Every Wednesday evening, Emre plays football with his friends. They play on a small turf field near their neighborhood. Ten friends usually come every week.

Her Çarşamba akşamı Emre arkadaşlarıyla futbol oynar. Mahallelerinin yakınındaki küçük halı sahada oynarlar. Her hafta genellikle on arkadaş gelir.

Before the match, the friends make two teams. Emre's team wears blue vests. The other team wears red vests. Everyone is excited to start.

Emre can run very fast. He is good at passing the ball. His friend Barış can shoot very well. Barış scores many goals every week.

The match lasts one hour. The friends run, shout, and laugh. Sometimes, someone falls down, but nobody gets angry. Everyone just wants to have fun.

After the match, everyone is tired and sweaty. They drink water and talk about the best moments. They laugh about their mistakes, too.

Then, the friends go to a small café together. They eat toast and drink tea. They talk about next week's match. Emre always looks forward to Wednesday.
