At the Barber

Ahmet goes to the barber every month. His barber's name is Yusuf. The barbershop is small and friendly. Ahmet always sits in the same chair.

Ahmet her ay berbere gider. Berberinin adı Yusuf'tur. Berber dükkanı küçük ve samimidir. Ahmet her zaman aynı koltuğa oturur.

Yusuf asks, "How do you want your hair today?" Ahmet says, "Short on the sides, please." Yusuf can cut hair very well. He works carefully and slowly.

Yusuf, "Saçınızı bugün nasıl istersiniz?" diye sorar. Ahmet, "Yanlardan kısa, lütfen," der. Yusuf saçı çok iyi kesebilir. Dikkatli ve yavaş çalışır.

There is a television in the barbershop. There are also old magazines on a small table. Ahmet reads a magazine while he waits. Other customers wait, too.

Berber dükkanında bir televizyon vardır. Küçük bir masada eski dergiler de vardır. Ahmet beklerken bir dergi okur. Diğer müşteriler de bekler.

Yusuf and Ahmet talk about football. They both support the same team. They laugh about last weekend's match. The other customers join the conversation, too.

After the haircut, Yusuf shows Ahmet a mirror. "It looks great," Ahmet says happily. He pays Yusuf and thanks him. The haircut is quick and perfect.

Saç kesiminden sonra Yusuf, Ahmet'e bir ayna gösterir. "Harika görünüyor," der Ahmet mutlu bir şekilde. Yusuf'a öder ve teşekkür eder. Saç kesimi hızlı ve mükemmeldir.

Ahmet always feels good after the barber. He likes going to Yusuf's shop. It is more than a haircut for him. It is a nice social moment.
