At the Bookstore

Melis likes to read books. Every Saturday, she goes to a small bookstore in Kızılay. The bookstore is quiet and cozy. Melis loves the smell of new books.

Melis kitap okumayı sever. Her Cumartesi Kızılay'daki küçük bir kitapçıya gider. Kitapçı sessiz ve rahattır. Melis yeni kitapların kokusunu sever.

There are many shelves in the bookstore. There are books about history, travel, and cooking. Melis likes novels the most. She reads the first page of many books.

Kitapçıda birçok raf vardır. Tarih, seyahat ve yemek hakkında kitaplar vardır. Melis en çok romanları sever. Birçok kitabın ilk sayfasını okur.

The bookstore owner is a nice old man. His name is Orhan. He knows Melis very well. He always recommends a good book to her.

Kitapçının sahibi hoş, yaşlı bir adamdır. Adı Orhan'dır. Melis'i çok iyi tanır. Ona her zaman iyi bir kitap önerir.

"This book is very popular," Orhan says. He shows Melis a blue book. The story is about a young traveler. Melis is interested immediately.

"Bu kitap çok popüler," der Orhan. Melis'e mavi bir kitap gösterir. Hikaye genç bir gezgin hakkındadır. Melis hemen ilgilenir.

Melis buys the book and a cup of tea. There is a small corner with two chairs. She sits and reads for one hour. The bookstore is her favorite place.

Melis kitabı ve bir bardak çay alır. İki sandalyeli küçük bir köşe vardır. Oturur ve bir saat okur. Kitapçı en sevdiği yerdir.

Before she leaves, Melis thanks Orhan. "See you next Saturday," she says with a smile. She walks home with her new book. She is very happy.

Ayrılmadan önce Melis Orhan'a teşekkür eder. "Gelecek Cumartesi görüşürüz," der gülümseyerek. Yeni kitabıyla eve yürür. Çok mutludur.
