She Coded an App for the Blind

Sena noticed that her blind neighbor had trouble walking alone in the city. He could not read the street signs or find the bus station easily. She wanted to use her coding skills to help him.

Sena, görme engelli komşusunun şehirde tek başına yürürken zorlandığını fark etti. Sokak tabelalarını okuyamıyor veya otobüs durağını kolayca bulamıyordu. Ona yardım etmek için kodlama becerilerini kullanmak istedi.

She learned how to program mobile applications. She built a special app that used the phone's camera. The app looked at signs and spoke the words out loud to the user.

She tested the app in the park with her neighbor. When the app read 'Café' or 'Bank' clearly, her neighbor smiled with pure happiness. It was a simple idea but very useful.

Sena put the app on the internet for free. Soon, many blind people downloaded it. She received emails from people in different countries who were very thankful for her gift.

Sena felt proud of her work. She proved that a few lines of code can break barriers and change lives for the better.
