The Old Clock Tower

Last Friday, Mrs. Nur took her students to see the old clock tower in Adana.

Geçen Cuma, Nur Öğretmen öğrencilerini Adana'daki eski saat kulesini görmeye götürdü.

The tower stood tall in the city center. It looked very old and strong.

Kule şehir merkezinde uzun boylu duruyordu. Çok eski ve sağlam görünüyordu.

Mrs. Nur explained the history to the children. "Workers built this tower more than a hundred years ago," she said.

Nur Öğretmen çocuklara tarihi anlattı. "İşçiler bu kuleyi yüz yıldan fazla zaman önce inşa etti," dedi.

A student asked, "Why did they build a clock tower?" Mrs. Nur smiled and answered carefully.

Bir öğrenci sordu, "Neden bir saat kulesi inşa ettiler?" Nur Öğretmen gülümsedi ve dikkatle cevapladı.

"People needed to know the correct time," she explained. "The tower helped everyone in the city."

"İnsanların doğru saati bilmeye ihtiyacı vardı," diye açıkladı. "Kule şehirdeki herkese yardımcı oldu."

The children looked up at the tall clock. They counted the loud bells together.

After the visit, the students drew pictures of the tower. They wrote short stories about its history.

Ziyaretten sonra öğrenciler kulenin resimlerini çizdi. Tarihi hakkında kısa hikayeler yazdılar.

Mrs. Nur felt proud of her students. They learned something new about their city that day.
