They arrived in Göreme late in the evening and stayed in a small cave hotel carved into the rock. Aslı had never slept in a cave before, and she found the silence strange but peaceful. Emre used to laugh at her fear of small spaces, but that night, she slept better than ever.

At four in the morning, their alarm rang loudly. Although they were both tired, they got up quickly because they didn't want to miss the sunrise. A van picked them up along with other tourists from several countries.

When they arrived at the field, dozens of colorful balloons were already being prepared. The explained the rules carefully and answered everyone's questions patiently. Aslı has never felt her heart beat so fast before a trip.

As the balloon slowly rose into the sky, the whole appeared below them. rock formations, called fairy chimneys, stretched out in every direction. Emre took Aslı's hand and said, "I will remember this moment for the rest of my life."

Other balloons floated nearby, painting the sky with bright colors. If they had chosen a cloudy day, they wouldn't have seen such a beautiful view. , the sky was completely clear that morning.

The pilot pointed out ancient churches carved into the rocks below, some of which have existed for over a thousand years. Aslı realized how much history was hidden in that valley. She had read about Cappadocia before the trip, but nothing had prepared her for the real .

After about an hour, the balloon landed gently on a trailer in an open field. The celebrated with a small champagne , a tradition that pilots have followed for many years. Aslı and Emre received for their first balloon flight.
