The Shepherd's Year

The shepherd leads a life close to nature. He spends his days on the mountains, guiding his flock of sheep. It is a quiet life, but it requires deep knowledge of the land and the animals.

In the spring, the shepherd moves the flock to high green meadows where the grass is fresh. He knows which plants are healthy and which ones are dangerous for his sheep. He walks many miles every day.

İlkbaharda çoban, sürüyü taze otların olduğu yüksek yeşil çayırlara götürür. Hangi bitkilerin sağlıklı, hangilerinin koyunları için tehlikeli olduğunu bilir. Her gün çok kilometre yürür.

He uses a wooden staff to guide the sheep and a protective dog to watch out for wolves. He is always alert, watching the sky for signs of storms and the hills for signs of danger.

The shepherd's job is not just about moving sheep; it is about protecting a life. He clips their wool, helps the newborns, and treats the sick animals with great care. He respects every single member of his flock.

When the seasons change, he brings the flock back to the lowlands. His life is hard, but he feels peace under the open sky. He knows that he is a guardian of the natural cycle.

Mevsimler değiştiğinde, sürüyü ovalara geri getirir. Hayatı zordur ama açık gökyüzü altında huzur bulur. Doğal döngünün bir koruyucusu olduğunu bilir.
